Smart Car Parking System
2018
This was the academic project of Digital Logic Design (DLD) Sessional course. It was a group project consisting of five members. First, I designed the algorithm and simulated the logic circuit in Proteus software. Then I helped others to build the hardware prototype. Calibrating the digital IR sensor was a tough task because of it's high sensitivity to obstacle. Besides, we had to make sure all the ICs are properly powered up and the wire connections were flawless. This project helped me to get a better understanding of 74xx series ICs and their use.
Smart Car Parking System: Project
This is a working video of the project. When a vehicle occupies a slot, the indicator becomes red. If the two innermost slots are occupied then the middle light also turns red indicating that no new vehicles are allowed in this area.
